Casual Leopard

Sorry I was MIA yesterday. I really didn't have anything blog worthy to chat about. I had about five ideas, but kept deleting and rewriting. Finally I just gave up and spent the evening with Ross before our girls came home. It was nice to take the day off, enjoy the 80 degree weather, soak up the sun and spend time with family.

JcPenney Denim Jacket // Old Navy Dress // Windsor Store Sneakers (option here and here these pop up as black, but click on the leopard square option) // Sira & Mara Necklace c/o // Forever 21 Bag (option here and here) // Wrenn Jewelry Rings (here and here) c/o // Michael Kors watch c/o Jeweler's Wife // Alex & Ani Bracelet c/o Jeweler's Wife // Forever 21 Sunglasses

So, a few updates to share...

I got an email from iHeartRadio with a big DENIED written across the subject line. Okay, not really those words exactly, but they did say due to room constraints they were unable to accept my request for a Country Fest press pass. They did say that if any extra space opens up they would let me know. I won't be holding my breath. I am a little bummed, but hey, I tried and you guys tried for me. Thank you! Another opportunity crossed my path and is pretty exciting...even better than some concert that will only last a few hours (just trying to make myself feel better). I can't wait to share more soon.

I asked for your opinions a few weeks ago about what dress you ladies thought would work best for a Bollywood themed gala we have coming up. The results are in. Thank you to everyone that took time to vote. The top two were the patterned and magenta dresses. Which one did I pick? Drum roll please...I rented the magenta one from Rent the Runway. It was my favorite from the beginning. I was so close to getting the patterned one, but after seeing it on other women and reading the reviews, I decided it was a little too casual for what I was going for. Here's to hoping it fits and the accessories I rented all come together for "the" vision.

Oh, one more thing, I can't take these leopard slip-on sneakers off. If we are friends on Instagram you know that they have been on repeat. Unfortunately, they are sold out from Windsor Store. Keep an eye out, I have a feeling that they will restock them since they were such a big hit. If I get wind that they are back online, I will be sure to spread the good cheer. In case you don't want to wait to see if they become available again, I found a few options I think are equally adorable and affordable (the black pair below come in leopard, just click on the shoe for the option). Happy shopping!

Sorry you didn't get tickets to the concert, but if it's meant to be I'm sure you'll find a way. Sometimes you do need a break so it's good that you took a day off.

That's a bummer about the press pass, but you never know maybe a spot can open up OR they remember you for next time. You have no idea what kind of impression you leave on people.

Lovin this super simple look! I'm on the HUNT for those slip ons, but at half the price. I am not sure I want to spend more than $20-30 on a trend that may not hang around.

I snagged a pair of these shoes for both myself and my daughter. She has literally worn hers every day! Thanks for the tip! And I love them with a dress!! I linked up today with these amazing wooden boxes I found on Etsy. Seriously, how did I ever live before Etsy?;) Blessings! Susan

A day off every now and then is always SO necessary! Also, I'm glad you're getting so much wear out of those cute sneakers! I wore my leopard flats so much that they got holes in them hahaha, there's a case for versatility!

This look is adorable! I thought I had found a good jean jacket last year but turns out I don't love it as much as I thought. Those leopard sneakers are too cute. Sorry you got turned down by country fest, but I can't wait to hear what your new opportunity is!

I sooo badly want to go to the iHeartRadio concert later this month. So sad that it's sold out. For a while, 100.7 was advertising that new seats would be available for purchase, but they are "the worst seats in the house, behind the stage." LOL. I was like, "maybe not..." P.S. I LOVE the leopard!

Aw, sorry about the denial. I would have loved to get your take on the show! Quick question about your dress. Did you get the petite or regular? And how tall are you? I think I remember you being on the shorter side? The dress looks like it might be petite if so, but wanted to check before ordering. I NEED a black short sleeve, casual dress. Well, need is a strong word...

Adorable head to toe. I would wear this outfit exactly like it is. Love your leopard sneaker loafers and all the jewelry especially the ombre chain necklace. I debuted my new Denim Jacket for the first time on the blog, yesterday, and I also paired it with a dress. Take a Peek.

Enjoy your Wednesday, Ada. =)

Cute outfit lovebug! Question about the dress. I LOVE black dresses so naturally, I went to order this one but the reviews online say that the fabric is shiny. I can't really tell from your pics if that's true so I thought I'd ask.

I really wanted those sneakers from windsor store but my size was way sold out. I bought some great dupes from H an M.com for $14.90 and they have half sizes so I was able to get an 8 and 1/2 instead of a 9. They do lace up but other than that I love them!
I may just have to copy this outfit!
