Does this style look familiar? Well, it kind of is. I posted a few pictures of it from our vineyard excursion in yesterday's post. I thought I would dive a little deeper and give you the full effect. Hope that's okay.
I knew I wanted to be comfortable and casual when we traveled a few hours down the road. At the same time, I wanted to find a way to incorporate a little romance into what I wore. You know, it was a weekend getaway with my man.
What is more romantic than a little bit of lace, some leopard, a dash of sparkle and of course the ring I got for Mother's Day.
See, it is possible to be road trip comfortable while feeling a little feminine and fun.
In other news, as I have mentioned already, it's summer in my house meaning my girls are out of school. We have camps, pool time, snow cone dates and coloring contests. My days as of late have been super busy keeping kids occupied and out of mischief...like coloring mustaches on their faces with markers. Yes, it happened. Just look at my Instagram.
Anyway, my blog is important to me, but my girls take lead when it comes to how I spend my time. So, my posts over the next few months will be more on the short and sweet side. Most likely you will continue to see my personal style, just less chitter chatter. I promise to put together some fun summer looks in hopes that you will still enjoy coming back each day.

Speaking of kiddos, my long time blog friend Katie with For Lauren & Lauren is having one of her very own in a few weeks and I couldn't be more excited for her. I have followed her heartfelt journey to become pregnant, was there when she announced her BIG news and have been watching her belly grow for the last several months.
A few words come to mind when I think of Katie and her blog: genuine, real, adorable, spiritual, and inspirational. I know that when I swing by her space it's going to be nothing but real life and a real girl; whether it's about her random life, her marriage or daily struggles, Katie lets us all into her world. Blogs like hers are hard to come by these days and I look up to her for opening up and welcoming us in each and every day.
Katie is also giving, gracious and kind. So much so that she is offering one reader a chance to win $25 to Target or PayPal cash. Winner's choice.
Go visit Katie at For Lauren & Lauren. Mark my words, you will be visiting her on the daily after today.
